BCTD: Bioactive Compound Target Database
BCTD is a concise web-based database with a user-friendly interface where user can easily query and retrieve drug-target relations.
The current version of BCTD contains 766 drug/compound entries, 780 target entries and 2862 items of drug-target interactions. We will keep in upgrading the database and broadening the content. It is hope that BCTD will serve as a useful resource to researchers, educators, students, clinicians and general public from varying disciplines and backgrounds.
Browse
User can have a general browse of all information stored in BCTD in either perspective by the two sub-option, Drug Browse and Target Browse of Browse.
Search
We classified search into simple search and complex search in BCTD. Simple search allows users to search based on drug/compound name like "phenformin" or target name like "tumor necrosis factor" by using the top-right quick search tool. Complex search allows users restrict the search to a particular field descriptor or a combination of varied field description.
Complex search allows users restrict the search to a particular field descriptor or a combination of varied field description.
All searches are case insensitive. A complete list of the field descriptors and their description is given below:
